Three tiers, or one, decided by the roof
Good/better/best pricing genuinely works when the homeowner has a real decision — different systems, different warranties, different lifespans. It gives them agency and it raises average job value.
Applied to work with one sensible answer, it does the opposite. A flat rolled-torch roof or a repair has a scope and a price; wrapping two padded tiers around it reads exactly as it is, and it undermines the credibility of everything else in the document.
So whether tiers appear is a property of the roof type rather than a sales toggle. Tiered types show the ladder. Single-package types show one card, priced up front, with no tier badge and nothing to compare against. Repairs show the price the rep entered for the scope they inspected.
